uhhh can you say crazy??

Yup, that is my life right now. I feel like I have been going absolutely nonstop since this semester started. Life is so crazy that I couldn't even go to Colorado for 2 days to see my brother's graduation, which I will be bitter about forever. It's not just school, it is frisbee, lacrosse, work, my church calling, and the like thousands of projects my teachers love to give me, and notice I didn't mention a social life because hey, I don't have one!
Good news is this block is over in two weeks from tomorrow (crazy right) so I have my interiorscaping class ending. This is both fabulous and terrible. Fabulous because it is ending, terrible because I have SOOOOO much to do for that class before it ends, and it is making me panic just a bit. Curious about what I have been doing in interiorscaping?...

After doing this project I decided.....I never want to professionally install Christmas decoration. Well, at least I'm learning something right?
Some of you have asked me to put up pictures of cakes I've been doing. Well, I've done a few, but I am not nearly good enough to show them off yet. I am actually a tad bit frustrated with my cake decorating skills at the moment. my "I want to be instantly amazing and not practice" problem is acting up, but I am working and working, and I promise by the end of the semester I will have made at least one cake that I think is awesome enough to share. In the meantime, here is a cakeboard I practiced on...just disregard my name in horrible lettering haha

Frisbee is good, though we lost this week. Lacrosse is good, the first official game is Friday at the stadium and I'm excited for them to play! Also work is good, I love giving tours to the little ones, Next tuesday I have about 100 1st graders...ahhh I can't wait!
This is super lame-o but one of the most exciting things of this week is that we got a futon! Maybe because it brings me back to the good old days when I was about 8 years old, and the bunk bed that my sister and I slept in had a futon on the bottom that was all mine...or maybe just because I think it makes our apartment so much homier, I love the thing. It's a bit hoopty (haha there's Jared's southern boy lingo coming out..hoopty meaning ghetto) but hey, we got the thing for $15! Here is me enjoying our new furniture haha

Well I have been reading Harry Potter feverishly, my goal is to finish them all before the last movie comes out, which is something like 58 days away, though I am only 3/4 of the way through The 5th book, so I have 2 more to go....I guess that is adding to the craziness of my life. Hey, when I set a goal, I try my darndest to accomplish it!
I spent this morning figuring out my schedule for next semester as well. It is absolutely nutso to me that I only have 2 semesters left of college. Hallelujiah...though that means real life starts next April. All I know is, that's another goal I am working my butt off to accomplish, getting a bachelor's degree. Everytime I think how much I really would like to be done with school, and how easy it would be just to stop, I hear my mom's voice in my head saying "You better graduate from college!!" so mom, really and truly, this is for you.
Lastly....Next Sunday is our 1 year anniversary. Where has the time gone?? This has been the best year of my life, and I am 1000 times more in love with my sweet husband than I was that day. Im guessing Jared has something up his sleeve...though he swears we are going to hang out here, go to the college avenue deli, then to BRC's frozen custard, then to the Park to play frisbee....I guess we will see!!
